دست همسا یک طلسم باستانی خاور میانه است که نماد دست خدا است. این نماد در تمام ادیان یک علامت محافظ است و برای دارنده آن، شادی، شانس، سلامتی و اقبال خوب به ارمغان می آورد.
معنی دست هامسا بسته به فرهنگ، تفسیرهای مختلفی دارد. نام کلمه "هامسا" از پنج انگشت دست مشتق می شود. عدد پنج در عبری "همسه" است و پنجمین حرف الفبای عبری "هی" است که یکی از نام های مقدس خداست و سمبل پنج حس دارنده در تلاشی برای ستایش خداست.
